Hello Experts
We currently implemented a Territory Management solution in CRM 7.0. where we have a Sales Manager defined for a Territory and we maintain rules based on the Account(BP).
Eg: Territory 01234
Person Responsible: Sales Manager (currently gets determined automatically at business transaction based on the Partner Determination)
We can have multiple accounts that are part of the territory.
So far we are good with this design and approach for the territory management, except for some issues we faced with Mass territory re alignments.
Now we have a new requirement to change the territory structures a little more dynamic. i.e
1) Each Territory can have more than one person with new roles Sales Rep, Territory Manager, Internal Sales Rep.
2) Only one person can be active per Account(BP) Level. It can be SR/TM/ISP who needs to be automatically determined during transaction creation.
3) There can be a territory which contains 3 accounts and each account has 3 Employees assigned with different role but only one person is selected active per account.
Eg: Territory 1024 Account 123 Person Responsible: Sam Role: SR
Territory 1024 Account 234 Person Responsible: Rob Role: TM
Territory 1024 Account 456 Person Responsible: Chris Role: ISP
How do we define territory rules for this type of scenario? also how till this type of requirement impact in terms of initial setup and mass updates?
Thanks
